Honeywell Group needed a revamped website that would trace

The conglomerate to its rich history.

Communicate its position as a leading creator of value through strategic diversification and business ethos.

Highlight milestones as it pertains to growing successful African enterprises and the brand’s socio-economic impact in Africa.

Solution

Phase 1 (Prototyping)

At the forefront of the website’s design and development was the need to restructure the mode of content presentation as was on the old website. The new website needed to be more aesthetically pleasing, easy to navigate, user-friendly and highly efficient in functionality.

As an industry leader, Honeywell’s revamped website needed to extensively present its diverse portfolio, culture, philosophy, history, impact, career opportunities as well as insightful updates about the present and future of the company.

With this knowledge, we proceeded to map out a user flow for the website informing the content restructure, website layout and design.

Phase 2 (Design Direction)

With the goal of depicting leadership, innovation, trust, and rich history, a layout was designed with a clean outlook in accordance with the Honeywell brand guidelines.

We harnessed the Honeywell brand color’s grandeur nature with the brand font and strategic use of images to showcase Honeywell’s enormous footprints on diverse sectors of the economy.

The content on each section of the website was spaced out to make for an easy read and comprehension on the part of the user and to avoid the burden of information overload that occurs with content-heavy websites.
